What is the Caylamax Recycling Yard?
All too often we hear the phrase “I didn’t know your demolition yard was here. I wish I had known about you before I started renovations on my house”.
So where is our recycling yard, and what do we have to offer? Located on two acres at 83 Kremzow Road, Brendale, we supply a variety of second hand building materials to the general public at affordable prices.
By taking the time to remove salvageable items from our demolition projects, we are able to provide a wide-range of recycled building materials for renovations – from simple doors and windows through to unique or antique items that are no longer available.
What recycled building materials are available at the Demolition Yard Brisbane?
Extensive range of recycled building materials
Stocks are abundant with a wide-range of recycled building materials including timber, doors, windows, security screens, kitchens, roofing iron and fencing to name a few. Renovators will be delighted at the quality and price of stock that is available.
In addition to the large range of recycled goods that we retrieve from demolishing homes, we also stock new products such as ply, basins, pine studs and fencing. These are all reasonably priced to keep our customers satisfied.
As each building or home demolished has its own history and unique style, the salvaged items returned from our demolitions vary from day to day. You may be surprised by some of the unique items that pass through our salvage yard:-
Our yard has a supply of various sizes and types of recycled timber. All timber is denailed and docked and available for purchase by the general public. From time to time we also stock new timber.
Many people have the misconception that new timber is better. This is not the case, as recycled timber is generally from trees that are hundreds of years old, whereas new timber is grown in plantations and the timber could be lacking in quality. Our hardwood timber is seasoned and will not bow, twist or warp.
Recycled timber is increasingly becoming a part of mainstream home decoration and improvement. It has become popular due to its image as an environmentally friendly product and also because of the unique style that recycling of building materials adds to a home.
Bathroom and Kitchen Renovations
Often houses are demolished to make way for development and the bathrooms and kitchens recycled are still near new, making them perfect for home renovations! By checking in at our demolition yard from time to time you may find your perfect bathroom or kitchen at an affordable price!
We sell a wide range of new and used bathroom products including bath tubs, vanities, cabinets, mirrors, tapware, pedestal sinks, basins, shower units, spas, toilets, towel rails, soap holders and showerheads.
Looking for specific second hand kitchen products? We stock full kitchens, kitchen sinks and insinkerators, bench tops, gas stoves, cook tops, rangehoods, kitchen cupboards, tapware and electric ovens.
Why do our customers keep coming back?
We endeavour to improve the choice and availability of resources in the construction industry, and assist with budgets for home renovators and builders. Customers often comment on how reasonable our prices are.
When you visit our recycling yard, there’s no need to sort through numerous piles of second hand building materials in order to find your particular items. Our yard is meticulously organised and categorised.
We receive into our yard various one-off items that are no longer available in retail shops so it is worth checking in from time to time if you want to add a unique style to your home.
We are customer-focused so don’t be deterred by our stock being recycled – we cannot guarantee our products, however, we are happy to exchange if the item is not as advertised or is faulty. And, if you are searching for a particular item, our friendly staff would be more than happy to note the details of your requirements and contact you should your item arrive.
To best accommodate our customers our Brisbane demolition yard is open 7 days with fresh stock arriving daily.
So if you are renovating or improving your home and are looking for ideas, or if your job involves working with timber, come in and see what we are all about.
